Product Overview

The TYL type gas rotary meter is a high-precision, highly reliable, wide-range, and low starting flow volumetric gas meter independently developed by our company. The product has passed the EU certification, and its technical performance indicators comply with the European standard EN 12480 and the international OIML R137 standard requirements. The product can directly measure the working volume of gas and can be equipped with mechanical counters or photoelectric direct reading counters. It can also be equipped with various volume correction devices to measure gas temperature and pressure and convert volume.

Operating Principle:

Rotary gas meters operate on the displacement principle. Inside the meter housing, two figure-8 shaped pistons rotate in coordination without touching each other. The measuring chamber is regularly filled and emptied by the rotation. During each revolution, four crescent-shaped volumes pass through the measuring chamber, and the rotation speed is proportional to the gas flow. The rotation of the pistons is synchronized by a gear train outside the measuring chamber.
