Product Overview

Introduction:
The ultrasonic series smart gas meter was developed on the basis of ultrasonic measurement technology. It features a compact design without moving components and possesses advantages such as high reliability, high precision, and a wide measurement range ratio. These combined advantages make it a highly sophisticated and reliable solution for modem gas metering applications.

Approvals:

EN 1359:2017

OIML R137 1&2: 2012

Certification is ongoing

Main Advantages
Compact and Lightweight
Characterized by a smaller size and lighter weight compared to diaphragm gas meters under the same flow rate
High Precision and Wide Range Ratio
High Precision and Wide Range Ratio
Electronic Volume Conversion
The built-in temperature and pressure sensors facilitate real-time volume conversion to the base condition
Protection against Interference and Tampering
Benefiting from ultrasonic measurement technology, it is immune to magnetic interference. Additionally, it is equipped with tamper detection and timely reporting features
Multiple Gas Safety Detection
It includes functions such as overflow detection, reverse flow detection, continuous flow detection, over-high/over-low temperature/pressure alarm, dismantling detection, and water ingress detection
Firmware Update
Supports both OTA and local firmware updates, which enhance maintenance efficiency and reduce operational costs

Operating Principle:

The ultrasonic gas meter calculates the gas flow rate V by measuring  the time difference between Tup (the time the upstream transducer  sends an ultrasonic wave to the downstream transducer) and Tdown (the time the downstream transducer sends an ultrasonic wave to  the upstream transducer), which in combination with the cross-sectional  area of the flow channel S calculates the gas flow rate.
